About The Position
Wood is currently hiring for a Mechanic Technician in the Rawlins, Wyoming area. This role requires authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship. The Mechanic Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment under the supervision of the Maintenance Foreman. This includes interpreting work orders and manuals, keeping equipment clean and maintained, diagnosing faults or malfunctions, adjusting equipment, and repairing defective parts as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Emphasis on good mathematical skills
- Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required
