About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has several immediate openings for Automotive Mechanics/Technicians. The overall purpose of this role is to perform mechanical repairs on vehicles per customer provided work instructions and project scope, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system faults using approved diagnostic tools, and verify repairs through functional testing and quality checks. The technician must adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Full proficiency in local language
  • Proficiency in English
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Automotive Mechanical Expertise in: Oil changes, Tune ups, Diagnostics, Repair, Brake work, Suspension work, Electrical work
  • Proven mechanical repair experience (automotive, industrial, or equipment)
  • Ability to read and follow technical work instructions
  • Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver's license (if required for vehicle movement)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical repairs on vehicles per customer provided work instructions and project scope
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system faults using approved diagnostic tools
  • Verify repairs through functional testing and quality checks
  • Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and compliance requirements
  • Client relationship & Business development
  • Work collaboratively with inspectors, technicians, and project leadership
  • Maintain professional conduct on customer property
  • Follow site rules, attendance expectations, and communication protocols
  • Support training of new team members when assigned
  • Execute repairs based on daily production plans and unit prioritization
  • Support surge projects, campaigns, and port activities as needed
  • Communicate unit status, issues, and constraints to supervisors
  • Assist with staging, movement, and organization of vehicles when required
  • Flex between tasks based on project demand (repair, flashing, inspection, rework)
  • Perform self-inspection and peer checks when required
  • Escalate quality concerns, tooling issues, or unclear work instructions
  • Participate in corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
  • Properly use, maintain, and safeguard company-provided tools and equipment
  • Report damaged, missing, or unsafe equipment immediately
  • Accurately document repairs, parts used, labor time, and outcomes
  • Flag repeat issues, part shortages, or abnormal failures
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining clean, traceable documentation
  • Any other duties as assigned
