About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Service Tech candidate who has good knowledge of the related field and good communication skills. This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the company-owned fleet while ensuring compliance with all safety, policies, and procedures, along with all Federal, State, and local environmental rules and regulations.

Requirements

Experienced Medium and/or Heavy Duty A & B Class Technicians and Trainees.
Knowledge of semi brake repair, exchanging tires, maintenance on semis and semi trailers, and any repairs that occur daily.
A valid applicable state license.
A good driving record.
Walk/stand for extended periods of time.
Kneel/squat frequently.
Capable of performing tasks, squatting at floor level or on knees.
Conduct repetitive tasks.
Use both fixed and portable ladders (step and/or extension ladders).
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment for identified tasks, such as ear muffs, ear plugs, safety glasses, welding helmets, work gloves, work boots, harness, etc.
Ability to drive a maintenance truck.

Nice To Haves

CDL is a plus but not required.
Computer knowledge is a plus.
