About The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Service Tech candidate who has good knowledge of the related field and good communication skills. This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the company-owned fleet while ensuring compliance with all safety, policies, and procedures, along with all Federal, State, and local environmental rules and regulations. Experienced Medium and/or Heavy Duty A & B Class Technicians and Trainees. Knowledge of semi brake repair, exchanging tires, maintenance on semis and semi trailers, and any repairs that occur daily.
Requirements
- A valid applicable state license.
- A good driving record.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment for identified tasks, such as ear muffs, ear plugs, safety glasses, welding helmets, work gloves, work boots, harness, etc.
- Ability to drive a maintenance truck.
Nice To Haves
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- Computer knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
