About The Position

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is a global leader in beauty products, seeking a Mechanic II for its 3rd shift operations. This role involves operating complex machinery, performing preventative maintenance and equipment changeovers, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures, and utilizing CMMS for work order management. The position requires adherence to safety protocols like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and compliance with cGMP and GDP standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent attendance, is flexible, and dedicated to continuous improvement by identifying and leading line-side improvement projects to reduce scrap and prevent deviations.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly operate complex machinery via HMI interfaces, ensuring precise control over production parameters.
  • Execute comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) and end-to-end equipment changeovers to maximize uptime and machine longevity.
  • Differentiate between mechanical and electrical failures, implementing sustainable solutions to minimize operational downtime.
  • Manage work orders, parts procurement, and asset history documentation using CMMS (IBM Maximo).
  • Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and participate in EH&S and BBS to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
  • Ensure product integrity and audit readiness by following cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
  • Support diverse business areas as needed.
  • Identify and own line-side improvement projects to reduce scrap and prevent deviations.
