About The Position

This position involves performing a variety of tasks that require strenuous manual labor in projects within a resort casino environment. The role requires maintaining a clean job site, handling and storing materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with minor snow removal. Adherence to safety procedures and the ability to use various tools and equipment are essential.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
Ability to communicate
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, 24-hour casino environment and effectively deal with guests, colleagues, team members, vendors and members of the business community in all situations
Must be able to push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in projects.
Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
Material handling and storage.
Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Ability to follow established safety rules and regulations.
Ability to use different equipment, hand and power tools, to complete job tasks.
Assist other trades, knowledge of power tools.
Ability to work independently or as a team to complete job tasks.
Assist with minor snow removal.
