Mechanic Helper- HVAC
About The Position
The Mechanic Helper A/C position is in the Engineering Department. This role requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a valid West Virginia Driver's License. The helper must be able to communicate effectively verbally and non-verbally with internal and external customers. The job involves significant physical demands, including lifting up to 70 pounds regularly, walking, standing, and continuously climbing ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. The work environment can be hot, cold, dirty, wet, and may involve working in confined spaces and at high places. The role requires the ability to follow general instructions, make independent decisions, and work independently. Knowledge of mechanical equipment is preferred, and overtime is required.
