The Mechanic/Maintenance Technician is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug & alcohol procedures. This role requires availability during regular business hours and after hours for emergency response and highway conditions. Reporting to the Shop Foreman and/or Equipment/Facilities Superintendent, the Maintenance Worker performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. The position offers a 40-hour workweek with opportunities for overtime, and schedules may fluctuate due to seasonal demands, requiring flexibility. Employees must be available for after-hours call-ins, responding within 15 minutes and reporting to work within 45 minutes.
