About The Position

As a Meat Wrapper, you will help ensure guests receive delicious products presented according to their requirements. You will provide guest service, support the Meat Lead, and help promote guest loyalty and store success. This role calls for a supportive team player who is eager to contribute to the team and grow into leadership.

Requirements

• Experience: 0 to 6 months.
• No high school diploma required.
• Food Safety certification or licensing required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries to help maintain meat cooler and freezer efficiency.
• Rotate products and check code dates to support customer safety and ensure freshness.
• Make safety the top priority for Team Members, guests, and products.
• Greet customers, help them locate products, answer questions, and make suggestions.
• Provide exemplary guest service to guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Encourage fellow Team Members and guests through enthusiasm for food and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Handle products and equipment according to food and safety guidelines.
• Replenish meat cases, rotate products, and follow code-dating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in the department and work area, including the back room.
• Assist in other areas as required.
