About The Position

Responsible for the execution of day-to-day merchandising, stocking, product flow, planogram, and pricing in the Meat and Seafood departments. The Meat Team Leader is directly responsible for Meat team members. The position also performs other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members to support a positive company image.
• Achieve financial performance goals in the Meat and Seafood departments.
• Conduct interviews to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Train Meat team members to build and sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Write and manage Meat schedules to achieve first-class service levels while controlling expenses.
• Ensure Real Time Apply is completed accurately and according to Meijer timelines.
• Maintain signing execution and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer sanitation and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory shrinkage through BOH accuracy, production planners, and adherence to rotation guidelines.
• React to and complete MITS tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.
