City Market Co-Op is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to stock and maintain the Meat & Seafood Department, while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Six months of meat or seafood experience OR one year of customer service experience required OR a demonstrated willingness to learn.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
Responsibilities
- Stock and maintain Meat & Seafood Department.
- Ensure meat and seafood products are fresh and attractively merchandised, by effectively cleaning, inspecting, packaging, labeling, and displaying produce.
- Package fresh meat & seafood according to customers’ needs within safety guidelines and departmental procedures.
- Serve customers at the Meat and Seafood counter, exhibiting sensitivity to customers’ needs.
- Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
