This position is responsible for supporting and backing up operators in the meat preparation production process in accordance with operational manuals and quality criteria. The role involves producing the required quantity of batched recipes, inspecting raw materials, maintaining logs, performing equipment maintenance and sanitation, and interfacing with the plant ERP system. Specific tasks include supporting and backing up the Meat Preparation Operator, rotating between various tasks such as block breaking, dry ingredient dumping, and sanitation, and operating equipment like meat block breakers, grinders, mixers, and filling machines. The role also includes housekeeping duties for equipment and the plant area, checking equipment cleanliness, finalizing paperwork, utilizing the ERP system for inventory management, and adhering to quality and sanitation guidelines. The position may also involve supporting other lines or process functions, disposing of waste, and operating a forklift as necessary. Additionally, the role requires executing company values, promoting a positive environment, providing back-up support for other roles, and being available for overtime.
