The Meat Cutter role involves receiving, rotating, cutting, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, including grinds. The position also assists in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli items, and in the rotisserie chicken area and full-service deli. Meat Cutters assist in meat selection and prepare special meat arrangements for Members, while maintaining all sanitation and safety standards within the meat department. Team Members are expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies and compliance, strive for flawless execution, act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, achieve goals, move with speed and agility, innovate and adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. They are also expected to deliver service excellence to members, resolve concerns, ensure a safe and positive member experience, and commit daily to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate, Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean). Furthermore, Team Members are to work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans executed, signage is accurate, and the club is clean and organized. They should also understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for their department and recognize the impact of consistent execution on the business.
