About The Position

North Central Co-op is seeking a part-time Meat Clerk to join their team at the Stony Plain Food Store. This organization is member-owned, sustainable, and committed to benefiting local communities. They operate numerous facilities across Western Canada and are experiencing growth. The Meat Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in the Meat Department, preparing and packaging meats, maintaining product freshness and presentation, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and performing other related duties.

Previous meat department experience

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the Meat Department
Wrap, label and package prepared meats
Ensure proper rotation is fresh and full at all times
Facing, filling and organizing of all product items
Disassemble and assemble all machines in department for thorough cleaning
Wash cooler and prep room floors every day
Clean and sanitize cutting blocks daily
Monitor Case temperature and clean equipment
Other housecleaning duties
