About The Position

Meat clerks keep the pre-packaged meat section well stocked and orderly. They order and unload products, stock shelves, build displays as required, and wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise meat department products. They maintain a clean work area, follow safety rules, and may perform other tasks in a meat preparation area. They should know store products and their locations so they can assist customers, and must adhere to strict sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene standards.
