About The Position

This entry-level position performs preventative maintenance, handles day-to-day troubleshooting, and supports natural gas measurement activities under direct supervision to improve production. The role assists with meter installations, equipment maintenance, calibration, monitoring, telemetry troubleshooting, and investigation of gas-volume discrepancies. Candidates must live or be willing to relocate within a 60-mile radius of the Mansfield Field Office in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related work experience, or an equivalent substitution for education of 4–6 years of related work experience.
Ability to possess a valid driver's license.
Basic knowledge of maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of oilfield equipment.
Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
Basic knowledge of natural gas process flow.
Reside or be willing to relocate within a 60-mile radius of the Mansfield Field Office.

Responsibilities

Assist with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement-related problems.
Assist with the maintenance and operation of flow computers and primary devices.
Maintain required meter calibration and follow company documentation standards.
Perform plate changes and general upkeep of end devices.
Monitor measurement and gas quality at assigned meter sites.
Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry on measurement equipment.
Coordinate with the Measurement Department and Production Control as required, and support resolution of gas-volume discrepancies.
Assist in volume recovery by providing information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
