The Measurement Analyst will serve as an integral member of the IT team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience as an engineering technician, data management, or data analyst role in any industry
  • An associate/bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT, Accounting, or Engineering, with no industry or work experience required
  • Knowledge and experience of relational database management systems (RDBMS), i.e. SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle, are preferred
  • The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production measurement data collection systems to ensure timely, complete, and accurate data is captured on a daily basis
  • Analyze, review, and approve monthly production volumes for natural gas and liquid measurement metering systems
  • Generate monthly production variance reports and coordinate review of variances with Production department personnel
  • Update electronic flow measurement (EFM) computers with gas analysis samples
  • Maintain alarming and SCADA configurations for Wonderware and Win911 systems
  • Gather and format production and measurement related data requests for internal departments, Accounting, EHS, Production, Water, as well as for regulatory agency reporting and audits
  • Assist Measurement Foreman with scheduling, generating work orders, and processing paperwork associated with new meter installations, meter calibrations and inspections, natural gas samples, and equipment repairs
  • Coordinate with contract well tenders to ensure proper and accurate measurement readings are received on time
  • Work with the team on special projects related to the evaluation of new measurement technology
  • Assist the Information Technology department on as needed basis for local IT related break/fix support
  • Create and maintain documentation of measurement related systems
  • Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
