The Measurement Analyst supports the Measurement function of the Company by monitoring, editing, and reporting measurement data to assure accurate and complete information is available to both internal and external customers. This role involves monitoring incoming gas and liquids volume and quality data, resolving missing data issues with IT, Communications, and Measurement Technicians, and estimating custody transfer data that cannot be recovered using producer data, historical data, flow patterns, and measurement experience. The analyst will review hourly and daily volume data, ensure proper configuration of new meters based on contractual terms, and evaluate incoming gas quality data for reasonableness and representativeness, coordinating with the field on sample issues. Additionally, the role includes maintaining, generating, and distributing reports, compiling and evaluating third-party measurement data, maintaining, reporting, and troubleshooting system balances, and evaluating meter calibration data to determine if adjustments are required. The Measurement Analyst will also perform Prior Period Adjustments, create necessary documentation for Accounting controls and settlements, provide support and training to less experienced analysts, and coordinate the monthly close process for measurement data.
