About The Position

McWane Poles Maintenance Technician is hiring for weekend shifts for our McWane Pole Division. This role requires availability to work three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Both day and graveyard shifts are available. The starting pay ranges from $29.17 to $35.66 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Familiarity with PLCs and troubleshooting control systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be available to work 3 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• Post offer/pre-employment physical and drug screening and background check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on poles.
• Work three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Operate within a loud industrial manufacturing environment.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to cold/hot temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and chemicals.
• Utilize specialized PPE.
• Perform frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing for long periods.
• Carry up to 40 pounds.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (up to 480V).
• Troubleshoot control systems.
• Maintain mechanical systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication.
• Solve problems and pay attention to detail.
