About The Position

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is seeking CA licensed Psychiatrists and Psychiatrist Supervisors to join their multidisciplinary clinic. The clinic offers services in Valencia, Westlake Village, and Torrance, CA, as well as telehealth services across California. Services can be provided in-office or via telepsychiatry. Office hours are available between 9 am and 6 pm PST, with flexibility to adjust hours. The role encourages a virtual work setup from a home office, offering a flexible schedule, and accommodating the provider's pace and caseload. New U is a well-established behavioral health organization with a team of psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs, therapists, psychologists, and social workers, emphasizing a supportive work environment with a strong psychiatric community. The center provides comprehensive administrative support, including marketing, scheduling, billing, patient procurement, medical record maintenance, and handling requests for medical records and letters, allowing providers to focus on client care. The organization also offers ongoing training, supervision, clinical case management meetings, and opportunities to learn about innovations like ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and suboxone/vivitrol is a plus.
