About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to support clients in Clinton, Oxon Hill, and surrounding areas. Caregivers provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes, helping aging adults with personal care, companionship, transportation, and light housekeeping. The role offers day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts, with full-time and part-time schedule options. TheKey describes its local teams as providing support to caregivers as they build meaningful relationships with clients and help aging adults.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- Comply with state background screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
- Provide companionship through social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
- Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
- Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
