About The Position
The McEachern Art Center (MAC) is hiring Gallery Curators for the 26-27 academic year. Curators oversee gallery operations during open hours, guide visitors through exhibitions, and maintain a professional, secure, and organized space. This role provides practical experience in gallery operations, visitor engagement, and arts administration. Employment Term: Start of the Fall semester in August to the last day of classes.
Requirements
- Must be a current Mercer University undergraduate or graduate student
- Must be Federal Work-Study qualified
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and dependable
- Professional and positive attitude
- Willingness to contribute to the continued growth of the MAC

Responsibilities
- Report directly to the MAC Director
- Lead gallery tours for guests and community members
- Maintain gallery cleanliness and organization
- Ensure alarm system is set and doors are secured at the end of each shift
- Represent the MAC professionally during all open hours
