Requirements

  • 30+ Years of heavy vehicle manufacturing Experience
  • Extensive experience in MBE implementation to manufacturing
  • Extensive knowledge of customer engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to guide implementation of MBE practices within the organization

Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities for RONMOR, WILMOR sunset, visual mockups, PLM initiatives, B7, B12, capital projects, harness engineering, boot room operations, hardware development, planning activities, 3D wiring, sheet metal design, proofs of concept, and model-based engineering efforts.
  • Support the development of dashboards and project tracking tools for B7, Fabrication, and Hardware Development activities.
  • Support the development of Locolist EBOM implementation and Design Environment retirement
  • Support evaluation, analysis, and implementation planning for future Siemens PLM initiatives
  • Assist in analyzing bundle size calculations and validating results against digital models and actual production measurements.
  • Support evaluation of harness sequencing methodologies and assist in determining alignment between digital visualization and physical installation outcomes.
  • Assist in identifying benchmarking activities and site visits with industry organizations to evaluate best practices and technology adoption opportunities.
  • Provide technical assistance and project support for emerging and special projects as needed.
  • Assist with the digitization of remaining hand-drawn formboards, including scanning, archival activities, and disposition of obsolete physical assets.
