2027 MBA Veteran Pathways Summer Associate
About The Position
Blue Owl’s Veterans’ Hiring Initiative is a program dedicated to identifying veteran candidates who have exhibited exceptional leadership qualities, collaborative teamwork, and high ethical standards. This initiative is part of our commitment to supporting the transition of military veterans into the finance industry, where they can continue to apply their skills and expertise. Participants in this program will be afforded training and personalized mentorship, aimed at facilitating their successful integration and progression within the finance industry. We are seeking interns for a 2027 summer internship across our Investment (Credit, Real Estate), Workouts group within Credit, Institutional Capital, Sales and Corporate Solutions (Strategy & Operations, Information Technology (IT), Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance) departments for Summer 2027 with the intent of extending full time offers to all successful interns.
Requirements
- 1st year MBA student
- Minimum one year of service with the United States military
- Interest in the Alternative Asset Management landscape
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Fluent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Participate in meetings and provide input on relevant topics
- Make meaningful contributions for the team on special projects and tasks relevant to the business in which you will support
- Conduct research and gather data to support specific departments or projects
- Collaboration on team projects, reports, and presentations
- Drive operational efficiency and process optimization through effective use of AI-enabled tools and automation
- Leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency
