About The Position

The Maximo Lead Developer designs, develops, tests, and implements Maximo applications for a US Government client’s enterprise systems. The role involves multidisciplinary research and collaboration with engineers and analysts to deliver software solutions, leading algorithm development, database design, and integration strategies, and overseeing developer teams to ensure software quality and mitigate risks. The developer applies scientific analysis and modeling to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within time and cost constraints. The role also requires deep functional and technical knowledge of Maximo, creating software development plans and strategies, developing and implementing algorithms, and designing databases. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating software-development risks, devising and evaluating solutions to potential problems, writing and integrating program components, and testing sample datasets to confirm that program outputs work as intended. Responsibilities are weighted as follows: Maximo development and customization (30%); algorithm and database development (25%); software development planning (20%); collaboration and knowledge sharing (15%); and research and problem solving (10%).

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a technical-functional resource for Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software.
Experience configuring and supporting Maximo 7.x applications, including the Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing.
Maximo 7.x installation and upgrade experience.
Experience with Maximo Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, and Database Configuration applications.
Java and Python programming experience.
Oracle PL/SQL development experience.

Responsibilities
