About The Position

Under limited supervision, the Maxillofacial Lab Technician III coordinates the daily clinical and administrative operations of the maxillofacial laboratory. The technician fabricates and repairs a variety of prosthodontic, implant, and dental appliances for patients with trauma, defects, and disorders, helping improve their quality of life and function.

The position is with the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA), in the CHS - Surgery - Maxillofacial cost center. It is a regular employee role scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree from an accredited school in dental technology.
• Work experience in prosthetic restorations, anaplastology, and/or a dental practice setting.
• Licensure as a Dental Technician in South Carolina and/or certification as a Dental Technician (CDT).
