About The Position

The Mattress Services Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective customer service by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products. This role involves maintaining a friendly and professional environment, working efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrating strong communication skills. The representative will provide timely and accurate information in response to customer requests and concerns, assist customers, sales associates, and delivery drivers with purchases, and handle inquiries regarding warranties and returns. Additionally, the role includes ordering necessary parts, following up with the factory on service orders, managing the non-sellable report, and partnering with sales associates to exceed customer service expectations. The position requires the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, maintain office appearance, file daily invoices, and perform other duties as directed by management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective customer service by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional environment by greeting and acknowledging every customer and coworker.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Provide timely and accurate information in response to customer requests and concerns.
  • Assist customers, sales associates, and delivery drivers with purchases during inbound calls and face-to-face interactions, including inquiries regarding warranties and returns.
  • Order all necessary parts for missing hardware, legs, finials, and upholstery/leather replacement panels.
  • Follow up with the factory on outstanding service orders to update statuses.
  • Work the non-sellable report to eliminate items waiting on parts.
  • Partner with sales associates to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Maintain the office's appearance by keeping all areas neat and clean.
  • File daily invoices.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.
