About The Position

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our Information Governance team as a Matter Mobility Reviewer. This role plays an important part in ensuring the secure and compliant transfer of client information during outgoing matter transfers. Working closely with the Information Governance team and other key stakeholders, you will review physical and electronic records, apply established governance standards, and help protect the integrity of the firm’s information throughout the matter mobility process. Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience reviewing documents, records, or client files, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of client file management, legal terminology, and information governance principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Paralegal certificate or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review physical and electronic client records for outgoing matter transfers in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of client file transfers.
  • Coordinate with the Information Governance team to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Identify and escalate issues requiring review by Professional Standards.
  • Track assignments through completion while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Support continuous compliance with the firm’s information governance and client confidentiality standards.
