About The Position

As a Seasonal Team Associate, you will partner with a Mattel Retail Services Representative to grow Mattel’s presence at major retailers during the busy holiday season. The role requires working a minimum of 15 hours per week and is intended for enthusiastic temporary team members who enjoy merchandising and fast-paced work. The position may provide a path to future merchandising career opportunities with Mattel. You will represent Mattel and Fisher-Price brands, help secure product placements, unpack and merchandise toys, organize sales-floor displays, construct and take down store fixtures, and install point-of-purchase materials. You may also support store events and other special projects, coordinate scheduling with the lead representative, and complete administrative tasks such as time entry, meetings, training, and email. The role involves travel to assigned stores and physical work, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, handling product and carts, and occasionally operating a screwdriver or drill. The hourly rate is $16.00. Preferred work hours are weekdays during daytime hours, with occasional weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Must have access to reliable internet.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned store locations.
Must reside within approximately 20 miles of the assigned territory/store cluster or otherwise be able to reliably service the territory.
Must be able to stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach, walk for long periods, and climb ladders up to 12 feet tall.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and occasionally push or pull carts containing product weighing up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to operate power tools such as a screwdriver and drill.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to complete tasks efficiently with a strong sense of urgency.
Professionalism and a positive attitude when representing the brand.
Flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn new skills with a safety-first mentality.
Tech-savvy, including familiarity with smartphones and apps.
Preferred device: an up-to-date smartphone and/or computer with Chrome Browser to access Mattel’s systems; a mobile phone is required for multifactor authentication by SMS or voice call.

Responsibilities

Represent Mattel and Fisher-Price brands and products as a brand ambassador.
Collaborate with the lead Mattel Representative to secure prime product placements for Mattel brands.
Partner with the lead Mattel Representative on monthly scheduling.
Unpack cases of Mattel toys.
Merchandise and organize products on the sales floor.
Construct and deconstruct store fixtures, including shelving and racking.
Implement point-of-purchase materials.
Execute special projects, including store events, as assigned.
Complete administrative tasks, including time entry, meetings, training, and checking email.
Travel to and between assigned store locations.
