About The Position

Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, negotiate lead times with suppliers, and manage schedules for timely delivery.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience, or a master's degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience.
Equivalent qualifications may include: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School graduate; associate's degree or other formal 2-year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience; military experience at paygrade E-5 or above; high school/GED and 4 years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or other relevant exempt experience; or high school/GED and 8 years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or other relevant non-exempt experience.
