About The Position

A high-achieving secondary school in Enfield is seeking a talented and committed Maths Teacher to join their well-established Mathematics department from September 2026. This is a contractual Maths Teacher role on a term-time basis within a school rated Good by Ofsted, known for its rigorous academic culture, collaborative department, and genuine investment in the practitioners it works with. This Enfield secondary school delivers a challenging, well-sequenced Mathematics curriculum across KS3 and KS4, with strong GCSE outcomes and a culture of high expectations that runs through every year group. Requirements

• Hold British QTS or are completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
• Graduated with a 2:1 or above in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from a reputable UK university, ideally Russell Group
• Have meaningful classroom experience within a UK secondary school through placements or a substantive post
• Show clear evidence of structured lesson delivery and measurable pupil progress
• Are legally entitled to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available
• ECT applicants are welcomed provided formal UK teacher training has been completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise, well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, using assessment data to track progress and close gaps in understanding.
• Contribute to departmental planning.
• Support intervention and enrichment programmes.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues throughout the year.
