We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children through engaging curriculum and compassionate care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in early childhood education.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification.
  • Current Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to the needs of children and families.
  • Must pass a background check in accordance with state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and assess age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote child development in cognitive, emotional, social, and physical areas.
  • Establish and maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, families, and staff, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and document children's progress, communicating regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that complies with all licensing and health standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local early childhood education regulations and school policies.
  • Support children's well-being, including providing meals and snacks in accordance with food safety guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for assistant teachers and support staff.
