About The Position
At Helena Public Schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a High School Mathematics Teacher, you will work as part of a team that serves over 7,5000 students at 14 campuses across Helena. This position serves a 187 day contract. Starting base salary range is $52,275- $70,833 based on education and verifiable experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan including but not limited to sick and personal leave, health benefit plan with options for dental and vision coverage, life insurance, a section 125 plan, numerous tax sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement. Long term disability, short term disability and long term care insurance is also available.
Requirements
- Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
- At least a year of successful teaching experience in math at the high school level.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.

Responsibilities
- Teach district approved curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional material.
- Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
