About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's or more advanced degree from an accredited institution.
An Identity Verified Print (IVP) fingerprint clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Teaching certification through Arizona Department of Education: Secondary Certificate.
Certification in Mathematics or Middle Grades/Early Secondary Mathematics.
SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement issued by Arizona Department of Education, within one year of hire.
For alternative certification: enrollment in a teacher preparation program approved by the Arizona Department of Education and obtain an Alternative Teaching Certificate.

Nice To Haves

Critical needs teaching positions in math may be eligible to receive a one-time $2,000 stipend.
Special Education Teachers are eligible for a case management stipend in FY 2026-27 of up to $4,000.
Special Education Teachers in ED-P classrooms are eligible for a stipend in FY 2026-27 of $10,000.

Available Annual Stipends: Up to $4,000 for Special Education case management; $10,000 for Special Education in ED-P classrooms.
