About The Position
This is a hiring pool for Part-Time Mathematics Instructors to teach various courses including Statistics, College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus I & II. The courses cover a range of topics from introductory statistics to differential and integral calculus, suitable for students majoring in mathematics, science, or engineering. Instructors will be responsible for teaching in-person classes on campus during daytime and/or evening hours. Students will need to supply a graphing utility for certain courses, with details provided by the instructor.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mathematics is required.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree in a related field plus 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics.
- Candidates must be available to teach in-person classes on campus during daytime and/or evening hours.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching college-level Mathematics classes preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory statistics, college algebra, trigonometry, and calculus courses.
- Cover topics including statistical methods, probability, inferential statistics, relations and functions, trigonometric functions, and differential and integral calculus.
- Provide details to students regarding the use of graphing utilities.
- Teach in-person classes on campus during daytime and/or evening hours.
