Part-time Faculty: Sociology (hiring pool)

About The Position
Lakeland Community College is seeking to build a pool of qualified part-time faculty to teach sociology courses in a variety of modalities, including in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Part-time sociology instructors may also have opportunities to teach Lakeland Community College courses through the College Credit Plus (CCP) program at participating high schools throughout Lake County. These are Lakeland courses taught to eligible high school students and follow the same college-level curriculum and academic standards as courses offered on Lakeland's campus.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Sociology is required; or a Master's degree in a related field plus 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology.
- Experience teaching college-level sociology courses preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach sociology courses in a variety of modalities, including in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
- Teach Lakeland Community College courses through the College Credit Plus (CCP) program at participating high schools.
