As a Math Fellow, you will gain real classroom and instructional experience from day one, lead small-group tutoring sessions with students, receive ongoing coaching and feedback from experienced educators, develop skills in lesson delivery, student engagement, and data-driven instruction, and earn a steady income while building professional experience. You’ll leave this role with practical, transferable skills that will serve you well in education and beyond. Many Math Fellows use this experience to explore and prepare for a future in education. This role is intentionally designed to help you build a strong foundation by providing structured, real-world teaching experience, ongoing mentorship and coaching, a deep understanding of how students learn and succeed, and essential professional skills to support success in the workplace, such as: communication, adaptability and problem solving. Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
- Current enrollment in a degree program, prior enrollment, or completion of at least an associate’s degree
- English proficiency (Spanish language skills a plus)
- Ability to commit through the end of the school year
- Successful completion of required background screenings
- Ability to reliably commute to school location based on assigned schedule

Responsibilities
- Deliver daily, small-group math tutoring during the school day
- Build strong relationships with students and support their growth
- Track student progress and adjust instruction based on data
- Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors
- Contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment
