About The Position
Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to providing math instruction to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of hands-on instruction. This role offers flexible, part-time hours and all work is conducted at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development outside of work. We are looking for individuals passionate about math and working with students to join our team for the entire school year.
Requirements
- Strong math proficiency through calculus.
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Desire to work through the entire school year.
- Previous math teaching or tutoring experience is required.
- Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
- Provide work authorization.
- Successfully pass a Background Check.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide math instruction to students in kindergarten through high school.
- Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
- Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
