Math Tutor (In-School Setting)
About The Position
We are looking for compassionate, committed educators to tutor in small math classes to high school students during the 2026–2027 school year. These classes are designed as small-group intervention sessions for students who are significantly behind in math. You’ll work with a pre-designed curriculum focused on numeracy, problem-solving, and foundational skills, using methods that build confidence and mastery. This is not advanced or enrichment math—it’s focused remediation designed to meet students where they are. This role is in-person at one of our partner schools in Brooklyn, NY. Most of our partners are Jewish, single-gender schools.
Requirements
- Charismatic, student-focused personality
- Strong interest in helping struggling learners
- Familiarity with math intervention tools or willingness to train
- 1–2 years of teaching experience

- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience teaching math or working with students in intervention settings
