About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to providing math instruction to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of hands-on instruction since 2002. This role offers flexible, part-time hours and all work is conducted at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development. The position is ideal for current teachers, retired teachers, and college students seeking to work through the entire school year.

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency through calculus.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Desire to work through the entire school year.
• Provide work authorization.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide math instruction to students in kindergarten through high school.
• Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
• Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
