About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to providing math instruction to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through the Mathnasium Method™, a curriculum developed over decades of hands-on experience. This role involves working with a variety of students at different grade levels within a Mathnasium Center, with no requirement for homework correction or lesson plan development outside of center hours.

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency through calculus.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Desire to work through the entire school year.
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
• Provide work authorization.
• Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide math instruction to students in kindergarten through high school.
• Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
• Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
• Learn and be trained in the proprietary Mathnasium method.
