Math Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through our world-class curriculum, the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of instruction. This role offers flexible, consistent part-time hours, working with a variety of students at different grade levels within the Mathnasium Center. All work is performed at the center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development.
Requirements
- Strong math proficiency through calculus.
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Previous math teaching or tutoring experience is required.
- Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
- Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
- Provide work authorization.
- Successfully pass a Background Check.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
- Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
- Perform all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
- Undergo training in the proprietary Mathnasium method.
