About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Gunston Middle School for SY27. The role involves implementing instructional programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, and maintaining accurate student records. The teacher will also collaborate with school administrators, colleagues, parents, and community members, monitor and assess student achievement, and attend ongoing professional learning and meetings. Salary will be based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure
- Mathematics endorsement
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred
