Math Instructor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Claremont is seeking a Math Instructor to teach K–12 students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors collaborate with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, assess student learning progress and engagement, and become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The role offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, advancement opportunities, continuous training, and the curriculum and instructional tools needed for teaching. Applicants must complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters and serve as the employer.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
