Math Instructor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Claremont is seeking a Math Instructor to teach K–12 students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors work collaboratively with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions, and become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The role offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, along with training and opportunities for advancement. Applicants must complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, and the hiring franchisee is the employee’s employer.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
