About The Position

AoPS Academy is seeking passionate Math Instructors to teach advanced students in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting. This part-time role involves using company-created curriculum to lead small classes, actively involving students in learning, managing classrooms of up to 16 students, providing feedback on tests, and building relationships with students and families to foster a love for learning and critical thinking in math.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong content knowledge in math.
Experience teaching or tutoring students.
Must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends.
Minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class.
Must be located in Morrisville, NC or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Unable to offer sponsorship, including STEM-OPT and H-1B.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
