About The Position

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2418601) is seeking a Math Instructor to teach K–12 students using the Mathnasium Method™. Instruction takes place in-center and/or online, with individualized support delivered in a group setting. Instructors assess students’ learning progress and engagement and become proficient with the center’s digital educational materials and processes. The position offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, although the stated availability requirement is Monday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The listed compensation is $18.00–$22.00 per hour. Mathnasium Learning Centers use a curriculum based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed through decades of hands-on instruction. Locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters and serve as the employer for center staff.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2.
Availability Monday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities
