About The Position
Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our curriculum is based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of instruction, aiming to help children understand, master, and enjoy math. This is a 12-month employment commitment, not a summer-only position. The role involves working with a variety of students across different grade levels at the Mathnasium Center, with no outside work required such as correcting homework or developing lesson plans.
Requirements
- Strong math proficiency through calculus.
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
- Must pass a math literacy test.
- Provide work authorization.
- Successfully pass a Background Check.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
- Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
- Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
