About The Position

Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is a multi-campus, two-year college serving Eastern Arkansas. PCCUA has academic, occupational/technical and continuing education programs and offers over 25 associate degree programs with campuses in DeWitt, Helena-W. Helena and Stuttgart. The Math Instructor will teach courses in developmental and college mathematics, following the departmental curriculum while maintaining a learner-centered approach to mathematics education; maintain accurate student records; participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff; contribute to department and college efforts to enhance student success; and perform other related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Experience integrating technology into instruction is required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in mathematics from an accredited institution preferred
  • Prior teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting preferred
  • The ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of classes and the ability to work and interact effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds is a plus

Responsibilities
