About The Position

AoPS Academy is seeking passionate Math Instructors to teach advanced students in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting. The Part-Time Instructor will use company-created curriculum to lead small classes, actively involve students in learning, manage classrooms of up to 16 students, provide feedback on tests, and build relationships with students and families to foster a love for learning and critical thinking in math.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong content knowledge in math.
Experience teaching or tutoring students.
Must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends.
Requires a minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class.
Must be located in Mountain View, CA or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Unable to offer sponsorship, including STEM-OPT and H-1B.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
